From the start of our project we decided that MGM would be a suitable institution, as it was responsible for the production of films like James Bond. The company was still running at the time and in the process of launching a new film. It was only later near to the end of the project we discovered that MGM was going into bankruptcy. As part of the plans, the privately-owned production company Spyglass Entertainment will merge two of its subsidiary businesses into a subsidiary of MGM to create the new MGM company.
Spyglass will then own the remaining 5% of the new business, with its senior management taking charge.
We can still use MGM as institution however it is no longer the same company, that we started off with.

Adding Credits/Titles
One thing that was removed during editing was the opening titles. We removed the titles due to the fact we were over running on time, however the titles/credits were a key aspect for the codes and convetions of an action thriller genre.
With the re-edited shortened film we were able to add on the new titles to the end. Making the titles we used previous sections of footage and used a b/w effect followed by a freeze frame. The freeze frame enabled me to apply the characters names and actors over the top.
This now folows all guidlines that where to be followed throughout.

Edit: Breaking of the 180 degree rule...
I had to make some quick changes to my film where we broke the 180 degree rule. Due to time issues the quickest way we could solve the problem was to cut footage from the interrogation scene. By removing the shots that has been filmed from the wrong angle, we were able to solve this problem. However deleting the footage meant we were missing dialogue from the actual interregation, so we added a fade/dissolve transition. This shows that time has passed in the middle and makes the cut less jumpy.
Improvements according to brief.
New edited fotage with changes made according to the requirements of the task. This included fitting to the coads and convetions that are in thriller genra. This included adding credits and removing footage that that brakes the 180 degree rule.
